Installation Principles:

1. When installing and laying out the wiring of the detector, the monitored area should be within the effective range of the detection perspective.

2. The installation of the detector should avoid the obstruction of obstacles as much as possible. For obstacles with horizontal and vertical dimensions not exceeding 0.5 meters, the distance between the detector and the obstacle should not be less than 2.5 meters. When the external dimensions of the obstacle exceed 0.5 meters and cannot be avoided, the number of detectors should be appropriately increased according to the on-site application situation.

Wiring Requirements:

1. Meet the relevant requirements of GB3836.15-2000 "Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Gas Atmospheres - Part 15: Electrical Installations in Hazardous Areas (Excluding Mines)" It is recommended that the relay output wires use RVS type twisted-pair wires with a cross-sectional area of ≥ 1.0 mm²; and the power supply wires use RVVP wires with a cross-sectional area of ≥ 1.5 mm².

2. Inlet Requirements: Use explosion-proof connectors.

Installation Precautions:

Do not install the detector near the following:

1. Where there are foreign objects blocking the "line of sight" of the detector.

2. Places where extremely large amounts of smoke will be generated at the fire scene (blocking the detector's field of vision will affect the detector's alarm sensitivity).

Grounding Instructions:

Ensure that the grounding bolt of the detector housing is reliably connected to the ground (the wire diameter of the grounding wire for the housing: 4 mm²). Since the system belongs to a comprehensive grounding system, the grounding resistance should not be greater than 1Ω. Only after confirming that the grounding resistance meets the requirements can the power be turned on for debugging. Otherwise, you will be responsible for any related consequences.

Slipping Hazard:

When installing the detector, please use a safety ladder or a lifting platform to ensure personal safety.

Detector installation (Figure 1):

1. Fix the mounting bracket to the wall with 4 x M5x25 expansion bolts (for best performance, the detector should be mounted on a hard surface in a vibration less area).

2. Fasten the detector assembly and connectors, bracket 1 with M8 nut, 1 M8x45 inner hexagonal bolt, 1 M8x25 inner hexagonal bolt, well to the mounting bracket.

3. Remove the rear cover.

4. Pass the cable through the G3/4 explosion-proof stuffing box and connect it to the wiring terminal (wiring as Fig. 2).

5. Insert the wired terminals into the female terminals of the detector, screw the back cover of the detector, and the installation is completed.

6. Use the standard 4 mm² ground wire to connect to the M4x6 grounding bolt.

7. The bracket is allowed to rotate vertically±45°and horizontally ±60°, the detector angle can be rotated freely, adjust the appropriate detection angle according to the site, and be sure to fasten the bolts after adjustment.

1. Only cables with a wire diameter of 0.2~1.5 mm2can be used.

2. Only one cable can be connected to each terminal.

3. Refer to wiring diagram 2 to connect the cable to the terminals.

4. Terminal resistor resistance values are based on each manufacturer's module model.

Supply Voltage:

1. To ensure reliable operation of the detector, it is important to ensure that the detector is supplied with a voltage in the range of DC 18-32 V!

2. If the supply voltage is lower than 18 V, the detector is in unstable operation, please replace the power supply in time!

3. If the detector is reset by a power failure, make sure that the power failure and power up time is5 s to ensure that the detector is reliably reset!

Note:

To ensure the safety performance of the product and meet the requirements of the CCC certification, please do not modify this product!
