On November 21, after one week of on-site work, the CDI team successfully completed the final phase of commissioning for the Russian cement plant. With this milestone, all installation and commissioning stages of the rotary kiln gear have now been fully completed. The smooth installation completed in September laid a solid foundation for this final commissioning work. Report: Chinese Steel Production to Fall Short of 1B Metric Tons
11/19/2025 - China’s steel production likely will fall below 1 billion metric tons this year, the first time that has happened since 2019, the Reuters news service reports.
Absent a year-end production surge, Chinese crude steel output is on pace to reach 970 million metric tons, Reuters said.
“The decline in steel production comes as mills struggle to remain profitable amid higher input costs and muted demand from the key construction sector,” it said.
