5.FAQs Related to Flame Detectors
Installation Principles:   1. When installing and laying out the wiring of the detector, the monitored area should be within the effective range of the detection perspective. 2. The installation of the detector should avoid the obstruction of obstacles as much as possible. For obstacles with horizontal and vertical dimensions not exceeding 0.5 meters, the distance between the detector and the obstacle should not be less than 2.5 meters. When the external dimensions of the obstacle exceed 0.5 meters and cannot be avoided, the number of detectors should be appropriately increased according to the on-site application situation. Wiring Requirements:   1. Meet the relevant requirements of GB3836.15-2000 "Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Gas Atmospheres - Part 15: Electrical Installations in Hazardous Areas (Excluding Mines)" It is recommended that the relay output wires use RVS type twisted-pair wires with a cross-sectional area of ≥ 1.0 mm²; and the power supply wires use RVVP wires with a cross-sectional area of ≥ 1.5 mm². 2. Inlet Requirements: Use explosion-proof connectors. Installation Precautions:   Do not install the detector near the following: 1. Where there are foreign objects blocking the "line of sight" of the detector. 2. Places where extremely large amounts of smoke will be generated at the fire scene (blocking the detector's field of vision will affect the detector's alarm sensitivity). Grounding Instructions:   Ensure that the grounding bolt of the detector housing is reliably connected to the ground (the wire diameter of the grounding wire for the housing: 4 mm²). Since the system belongs to a comprehensive grounding system, the grounding resistance should not be greater than 1Ω. Only after confirming that the grounding resistance meets the requirements can the power be turned on for debugging. Otherwise, you will be responsible for any related consequences. Slipping Hazard:   When installing the detector, please use a safety ladder or a lifting platform to ensure personal safety. Detector installation (Figure 1): 1. Fix the mounting bracket to the wall with 4 x M5x25 expansion bolts (for best performance, the detector should be mounted on a hard surface in a vibration less area). 2. Fasten the detector assembly and connectors, bracket 1 with M8 nut, 1 M8x45 inner hexagonal bolt, 1 M8x25 inner hexagonal bolt, well to the mounting bracket. 3. Remove the rear cover. 4. Pass the cable through the G3/4 explosion-proof stuffing box and connect it to the wiring terminal (wiring as Fig. 2). 5. Insert the wired terminals into the female terminals of the detector, screw the back cover of the detector, and the installation is completed. 6. Use the standard 4 mm² ground wire to connect to the M4x6 grounding bolt. 7. The bracket is allowed to rotate vertically±45°and horizontally ±60°, the detector angle can be rotated freely, adjust the appropriate detection angle according to the site, and be sure to fasten the bolts after adjustment. Wiring diagram (Figure 2)   1. Only cables with a wire diameter of 0.2~1.5 mm2can be used.  2. Only one cable can be connected to each terminal. 3. Refer to wiring diagram 2 to connect the cable to the terminals.  4. Terminal resistor resistance values are based on each manufacturer's module model. Supply Voltage:   1. To ensure reliable operation of the detector, it is important to ensure that the detector is supplied with a voltage in the range of DC 18-32 V! 2. If the supply voltage is lower than 18 V, the detector is in unstable operation, please replace the power supply in time! 3. If the detector is reset by a power failure, make sure that the power failure and power up time is≥5 s to ensure that the detector is reliably reset! Note:   To ensure the safety performance of the product and meet the requirements of the CCC certification, please do not modify this product!

6.FAQs Related to Gas Detectors
Installation Principles:   1. The sealing sleeve of the cable terminal and the connection status of each connecting part must ensure its sealing effect, and there shall be no water leakage. 2. The outer casing of the detector must be reliably grounded to prevent interference from external radio frequency and electromagnetic noise. 3. Ensure that the grounding point of each detector and the grounding point of the controller are connected to a reliable grounding point through the shielding layer. It is prohibited for the detectors and controllers of the same system to be independently grounded at different locations. 4. For detectors sampling by diffusion, their sensors must come into contact with the target gas in order to respond and conduct detection. 5. It is prohibited to directly install the detector on a heat source or a vibration source.   Wiring Requirements:   1. Meet the relevant requirements of GB3836.15-2000 "Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Gas Atmospheres - Part 15: Electrical Installations in Hazardous Areas (Excluding Mines)". It is recommended that the relay output wires adopt RVS twisted-pair wires with a cross-sectional area of ≥1.0 mm²; the power supply wires and communication wires adopt RVVP wires with a cross-sectional area of ≥1.5 mm². 2. Inlet Requirements: Use explosion-proof connectors. Installation Precautions   1. During installation, the sensor of the detector should be fixed facing downwards to prevent it from being immersed in water or other liquids and getting damaged. 2. After correctly connecting the wires, the top cover of the detector should be completely closed to meet the explosion-proof requirements. 3. The working voltage of the external live terminals and the power plug of the detector is less than 36V. Therefore, there is no insulation requirement between them and the casing. When checking whether the cable is short - circuited to the ground, the detector should not be connected to prevent misjudgment! Grounding Instructions   Ensure that the grounding bolt of the detector housing is reliably connected to the ground (the wire diameter of the grounding wire for the housing: 4 mm²). Since the system adopts comprehensive grounding, the grounding resistance should not be greater than 1Ω. After confirming that the grounding resistance meets the requirements, the power can be turned on for debugging. Otherwise, you will be responsible for any relevant consequences. Detector Installation (Figure 1) 1. Fix the mounting bracket to the wall with at least four M5x25 expansion bolts. (To achieve the best performance, the detector should be installed on a hard surface in an area with minimal vibration.) 2. Securely fasten the detector assembly to the mounting bracket using M6 bolts of appropriate length. Remove the front cover. 3. Pass the cable through the G3/4 explosion - proof cable gland and connect it to the terminal block (see wiring diagram in Figure 2). 4. Screw on the detector front cover to complete the installation. 5. Connect the standard 4 mm² grounding wire to the M4x6 grounding bolt. Wiring Diagram (Figure 2, Figure 3)   1. For the power cable, use a cable with a wire diameter of more than 1.5 mm², and for other cables, use those with a wire diameter of more than 1.0 mm². 2. Refer to Figure 2 for the wiring of the four-bus system and Figure 3 for the wiring of the two-bus system, and connect the cables to the terminal blocks. Power Supply Voltage:   1. To ensure the reliable operation of the detector, it is essential to ensure that the power supply voltage of the detector is within the range of DC 20.4-27.6 V! 2. If the power supply voltage is lower than 20.4 V, the detector will be in an unstable working state. Please replace the power supply in a timely manner! Note:   1. To guarantee the safety performance of the product and meet the requirements of type certification, please do not modify this product! 2. To ensure the product performance and the accuracy of the test, the product must run for 20 minutes when it is powered on for the first time!
